MatchDay2022 - Information on Relocating to Columbia Missouri

Congratulations on your Match!

We're excited you're coming to Columbia, MO. First thing to learn is that we are the Show Me State. The slogan is not official, but it's common throughout the State and it's used on our license plates. "I'm from Missouri — You'll have to show me!  I'm sure you're feeling a little bit like that too.

One thing we tell our clients when they first move to town is that Columbia is a small city.  That means with a population of over 120,000 people, we're big enough that not everyone knows your business all the time. But we're small enough that you run into people you know at the grocery store. It's a good balance that makes for a cozy, friendly place to live.

The other thing to learn is Columbia's motto — "Columbia MO What You Unexpect." Visitors are always surprised by what Columbia has to offer. We often hear comments like "more than a college town" and "surprisingly sophisticated."
